Just got a text about an hour ago from our local school (image related) followed by autodialer. The recording added by saying that

>"… a threat message was received today and both Bett police and FBI are investigating. There will be increased security presence at the high school tomorrow. Both the po-po and the Feebs support the school decision to proceed with regular classes tomorrow… Blah, blah"

Two days ago, the fire alarm went off and all the kids evacuated the building. Daughter says the all clear came about 15 minutes later. She was told by a teacher that a sensor had generated a false alarm.

Just a coincidence.

Yup. Hope to hell it's false alarm, but not taking any chances. Wonder how many will play hooky? Not many, although I was proud of the bunch that staged a counter walkout in defense of 2A last Spring. Prayers ascending.
