They have to "beat the clock" on green energy to get their stupid windmills up all over the place, and their carbon tax, before thorium reactors, breeder reactors to reprocess spent fuel, and maybe even tokamaks or other fusion technology make it all a moot point.
Trump's pushing the thorium (molten salt) technology which is very doable, a technological chipshot.
