I have no idea why so many are talking so much about Cortez.

She beat an incumbent in a D primary in a Safe D district and won in November. Nothing particularly unusual there. What did she actually do? Why are people talking about her instead of the other 200+ Dem Representatives? Has she done anything? She has political beliefs similar to Bernie Sanders, but she isn't an old, male Jew, but a young, attractive Hispanic female. We know that a lot of Democrats like the Bernie Sanders message, and with Cortez, they have a better messenger, at least she looks better.

And we, for some reason, want to talk all the time about the young attractive Dem with the Bernie Sanders ideas. I have no idea why we want to do that. Find some other Dem who looks like shit and a lot of D women look like shit, and push them forward.

Cortez is good-looking, don't give her free press, she's not that famous, she hasn't done anything.
