I don't agree with the "personality cult" but he is right that this is not the old Republican party. This is Trump's party: power to the people.
For the past decade or so, it's been like the Democrat Party was the Harlem Globetrotters and the Republican Party was the Washington Generals. They were just there so the other team had someone to beat.
