I am a victim of one of these fires. Everyone is under insured. More than 70% will not be able to rebuild. People who live in cities have no idea how hard it is to resource what's needed, manpower and material, for people who live in rural areas. This town will have to be built from the ground up. No infrastructure is left.
People over 60 are the hardest hit. They don't have time and many don't have the health to deal with the arduous task of dealing with contractors. That is when they can find them.
