The GOP is playing Whites to get their votes while delivering as little as possible. They had house, senate and presidency and no wall has been even started. They have betrayed their base consistently for decades.
Trump has got Whites sticking up for themselves more but that was a trend developing before he came on the scene. All he did was redirect that energy into the GOP and make it philo-semitic.
