Elon Musk is digging tunnels all across the country, with the Boring Company, through a classified government contract. The tunnels that are being installed are virtually weather and natural disaster proof. They will be used to reinforce the electrical grid, by transporting batteries at high speed to needed locations. This is nothing more than a government funded infrastructure plan, but is of the utmost importance for the coming wave of grid-born electromagnetic attacks. It will be necessary to shut down certain portions of the grid at times, but still able to provide power to emergency locations.
