Assange indictment dig:

The Assange name included in the motion is not a mistake. This person is a person within Assange’s orbit. The “failure” on the part of the attorney was not REDACTING Assange’s name. Seitu Sulayman Kokayi is a 29-year old programming teacher at the University of Maryland that enticed a 15 year old girl to have sex with him and video tape it. Not the type of thing that needs to be sealed unless a conspiracy is afoot. To justify sealing the indictment, the prosecutor is making an argument he has apparently made enough times that the Court is familiar with the players. Assange’s role in this investigation is the “target.” The justification for sealing the indictment is to hide the indictment from Assange. Seitu is within Assange’s orbit. Further, they were unsealing Seitu’s indictment, meaning that it was no longer important that Assange knew he was the target, meaning he has been secured.
