Anons I am working on dig. This is going to be a long story so please bear with me.
Once upon a time a friend and I took a road trip. We had no plan, just got in the car and headed south. Initially thinking we would go to Mexico for kicks. Somewhere in New Mexico we figured out there was no way we would be allowed in for 2 reasons, I had my dog with and my friend forgot their ID. So we turned right and headed into Arizona.
We visited a few spots and turned North. We drove a few hours and realized we were going to need gas. We hadn't seen a gas station in a long time and there was nothing ahead for miles. We were coming to a turn that would take us into a small town, so we took it. Not realizing we just turned onto an indian reservation.
It was pretty barren and we were getting nervous about the tank and our water supply. Funny, sometimes those split second decisions take you somewhere spectacular, though.
We came to a lake and then a dam. The Coolidge dam. Here's where it starts to tie into Q. The Coolidge dam was built on the San Carlos reservation in 1924.

When it was built a lake was formed. Because of the reservation, deals had to be made with the tribe. The lake would flood the sacred burial grounds of the APACHE indians. The same grounds where GERANIMO planned his battles.
To "preserve" the burial grounds under the lake they poored a CONCRETE slab on top of them. Forever preventing their destruction.
Now why is this important???
Remember where this is, Arizona. Who was in AZ? NO NAME.
