Wanted some perspective so I looked up the aftermath of 2016 Gatlinburg TN fire. Sort of similar results, trees remaining while all structures and cars burned to nothing. I'm wondering if this is just how it happens. Maybe the trees eventually die bc of damage to base, but they don't fall for a while.
