For most, they are never-ending victims of extreme poverty, and also of the greedy and corrupt politicians who would kill their own mother for a dollar. Haiti has this worse than most other countries in this hemisphere, but the American media hides the truth about what really goes on there for obvious reasons. If you travel to Haiti you might be surprised at what you see there. It is a country of both extreme wealth and extreme poverty. There are many people there who live like kings and queens while the majority of the population lives in squalor. Wealth is largely related to skin color and long-standing family connections. The white and light-skinned Haitians are usually the folks that have money, education, access, and other privileges. The very dark-skinned ones are typically the least educated and the poorest. And it is the latter group that is always victimized and who suffer the most whenever anything happens there.
And the corruption there is over-the-top, no matter who they elect. This is the reason why people like the Clintons and many other wealthy whites in the USA and Europe prey on Haiti and Haitians. Its easy pickins over there, and everything and everyone is for sale if you offer the right amount of money. Its one of Soros' favorite playgrounds. They gaslight the locals with bullshit all the time. The people have no one looking out for them, and they don't have control over any of the nation's resources so they can't even begin to make things better for themselves there. Helpless and hopeless.
