I read a fantastic plebbit comment on T_D today talking about the deep state's mentality as it relates to the Japanese Kempeitai of WWII and their fatalism.

You'd be surprised what people who are in power will do to retain that power. It's all about the power, a group of people who yield that power and the assurance of that group's continued existence even to the detriment of the very Nation/System that Gives them that power.

To put it in a most simplistic manner: We don't care if the Ship is sinking and in disrepair as long as I'm Captain, no matter what!

Here's a prime example of it in action.

Imperial Japan, WW2. The Kempeitai (Japanese Military Police/Intelligence) were essentially in charge of Japan during the years leading up to the war and certainly during it. When I say control, I mean they were in charge of who got to be in charge. They had a complete lockdown on the whole Government and even had influence on the Emperor by restricting information given to him.

At the very end of the war, after a Second Atomic Bomb destroyed Nagasaki it became evident to all parties concerned that the war was now lost and that any resistance would be futile and result in……here's the important part…….result in the destruction of the very nation that they want preserved. The Emperor authorized the surrender and had the paperwork and a recording of the Emperor himself telling the Japanese people to "Bear the Unbearable".

The Kempeitai were having none of it. They were determined to fight to the last man, woman and child even if it meant the destruction of the nation. They were willing to even put the Emperor's life and the Imperial Family at risk while doing it. Why? Because they thought of Themselves as actually being "Japan". This is a clue into the psychology of this kind of people. Given that it's Japan that we're talking about makes it even MORE crazy. You see, Japan IS the Royal Family. A Family thousands of years old. No Imperial Family = No Japan because without them there's no reason to exist as a Nation.

They, the Kempeitai, thought of themselves as the "Real Japan" and they did so for some rather convincing reasons. It was the Military that brought Japan 1st World Class Status. It was the Military that expanded the Empire. It was the Military that beat a "White Empire" for the first time in history when they defeated the Imperial Russian Fleet. For a little over 50 years the Japanese Military delivered the power and influence that made The Empire of Japan. They felt that they were in charge and they acted like it too.

When the Emperor chose to surrender they attempted a coup and came within minutes of being successful. Had the Emperor not made a recording of his surrender speech then it couldn't have been delivered in a surprise secret broadcast that the Kempeitai didn't know about. With that one fell swoop their power was broken and they scattered to the winds. Some committing suicide, some ending up getting tried for War Crimes and jailed and/or executed.

So you see, this happens in real life. This is actually happening in America. We have a large group of people who believe that THEY are actually the "Real America" and that the rest of us are Fly-Over types beneath their concern. They are in power and control over most of the Federal Government, most all Banking and Financial Institutions, Most of the Education System and all Places of Higher Learning, Certainly all Social Media platforms. They did it by creating Government Entities which were then placed in charge of, let's say for example, Education. Suddenly, instead of having to infiltrate and take over hundreds or thousands of Centers of Education they had a cudgel to bash them into place with the threat of funding cuts, lawsuits and myriad other nitnoid ways to harass an bully them into compliance. Don't believe me? Who bullied schools into accepting the theory that there is more than one Gender and then forcing them to create bathroom accommodations for said same theory? Yeah.

The only thing preventing a complete and total takeover is the Constitution and they are working feverishly to destroy it. That's why the Kavanaugh fight was so important and why they are BLATANTLY stealing elections left and right. They have key positions of power but they don't really have "The People".

So long as we have guns we not only have Power, but more importantly, We Have a Chance.
