Russian media's view on the midterm elections

On Tuesday, the mid-term elections were held in the USA. The bottom line is President Trump strengthened his position in the upper chamber of the American parliament. He gained a majority in the Senate. It means there will be no impeachment. Trump will remain in office. But in the lower chamber of the Congress, in the House of Representatives, Trump lost his position. Now, he has a minority there. Since it is the Congress that determines the country's foreign policy, this means that it will be obviously impossible to agree on major issues with Trump. Trump has only a consultative role.

Proof?

Think about how a fire starts. A thin wisp of smoke. As the fire gets bigger, more smoke rises, the breeze pushes the column of smoke in one direction as it gets to the stage of billowing up in dark clouds of smoke.

Now look at the smoke in the photo. This fire has been burning for a while, almost no breeze, but just enough to push the smoke to the right. Why would anyone have a laser shining on a fire that has already been burning for a while and is already billowing smoke?

And if there really was a laser in the sky and they really did shine it on the fire, then most of the laser light would be dissipated by the smoke and would not be able to reach the ground.

So the photo is fake due to camera effects.
