good news. i would guess that this is primarily being driven by the senate results.

have been thinking a lot lately about the house results and how things will likely play out longer term (going into the 2020 elections). i think that the following are key points:

1. the only real power, the kind of power that brings leverage over the other branches and bodies, is the power of the purse.

2. government is funded through the end of 2019 via the omnibus spending bill.

3. trump has signaled willingness to fund most of the programs that would be key to lower class and many poverty level voters. infrastructure, school choice, inner city investment, the whole america first and bringing manufacturing back etc…..

4. the house dims are going to be divided and bickering and the msm is not going to be able to resist getting involved and taking sides. this part is going to be a real shit show.

5. i think that it is possible that POTUS gets dims to break ranks for something or another (consider how often he bemoans the lack of solidarity among repubs and gives credit to the dims for theirs) which just increase the intensity of the shit show drastically.

6.POTUS has great optics going into 2020 and destroys whoever.

1. we take back the house via defections from the dims and through a strong post-election ground game based on the battles now being fought around FL (and hopefully AZ) senate races.
