I have the flashlight laser that we use on the farm to start big fires without having to use gasoline. Very useful. Docs find them useful for surgery too. Not really new tech. BUT….

I was thinking the CA DEWS had to be more like something you picture here, because whatever it is carrying these blue lights, it has to be able to disappear before Jets are scrambled, or, avoid radar all together.
