Re: california fire arguments…

I'm not really sure why talk of government wrongdoing always must gravitate toward space lasers and such. I think this is a distraction from the more prominent question of why California pulls money away from their conservation department, fire prevention measures, etc and then comes begging for disaster money.

Sure - some of the pictures of damage that is inconsistent with what we expect from fires are curious - but I don't really understand why the deep state would jump to using restricted access tech to start fires when a few jackasses with some matches can achieve the same desired end of setting things on fire.

If I were looking to choke up internet discussion of the california fires - I would make sure to get everyone arguing about lasers and dragons, rather than discussing who did what in California's government and when.

If I may wear my psychopathanon hat to reveal how I would handle the type who don't move along and think there are things to see, here.

Comes with the territory of conspiracy talk. People who question everything can be some of the most difficult to teach something without literally dragging them out and showing them. I like to think they're all from Missouri.

I know things because I have seen them with my own eyes or put them into use myself. I trust much of the physics I have a grasp of and the like. People who don't have that same experience, but believe what knowledge they do have extends to cover it, are not going to be so easily convinced they are wrong.

It doesn't necessarily make them a bot or a shill - but it does make us vulnerable to disinformation tactics which can distract us with shiney objects and arguments over what they are. One disinfo agent with a few pictures and a couple alts/bots can do a drive-by through various boards and get plenty of people who will argue exactly as shills for one side or another.

We call this "force multiplying" in special warfare circles. Use the local population to provide cover or assistance for the operating team. Get connections with a local noble, a local politician, a local club leader - fund him, train his group, equip his group, rally up a demonstration at point A and swamp local resources - strike point B.

Even if they know it is not organic, they have little options other than to play the cards straight and try to react or investigate afterward.

The same concept can be applied to forum/internet/meme warfare, with some modifications.
