I can tell you this experience from when I was a child. I suppose I might have been 10 or 11 years old at the time. It was in the 80's.

Uri Geller was going to have a TV special, and my mother wanted to watch it. So, all of us kids sat down with mom to watch this TV show.

The whole time Uri kept telling the television audience that they would have a chance to participate in the show as well.

So, towards the end of the program, Uri finally tells the TV audience to go get something in their household that is broken and doesn't work. It could be a toaster, an iron, or a watch…anything that doesn't work anymore.

So, my mother sent me up to go get her watch that used to be her mother's watch (my grandmother), and place it in front of the television.

When Uri came back from commercial break, he did his thing and we did exactly as he said (I don't remember what it was exactly…maybe we had to put our hands over the watch or something? I don't remember).

When all was done, my mom screamed "Oh my Lord! The second hand is working!"

And we looked at the watch and sure enough, the second hand was moving.

I know that Uri is a debatable charlatan; but I can only say that from this experience, that something did happen. Whether it was the power of mass consciousness or coincidence, but something happened that evening back in the early 80's.
