Is anybody watching Haiti? We had reports of boots on the ground, US forces taking control of the Port-au-Prince airport. There were reports of mass murders. Today, November 18th, is a national holiday in Haiti commemorating the freeing of people who were slaves. The US state department was warning travelers of blockades in Port-au-Prince. Twitter was pretty hot with a few eyewitness reports. Comms out of Haiti is never very good so it's hard to discern what's happening but anon suggests we put some focus on Haiti today … it could be the epicentre of some big happenings.
