Americans think in terms of the nuclear family, personal wealth, corporations, and governments.

 

They forget that, long before there was the concept of a nation - there were tribes and branches of tribes. As populations began to revolve around towns and cities, these became clans… Families. Government was initially created to handle affairs among clans.

 

Clans still hold power. A lot more, actually, since the average person no longer feels attached to one and is ignorant of its dealings.

 

Look at what nobility was spared the cultural revolutions and wars of the 1900s … And what nobility was killed, banished, or driven into hiding. Many of us in America could even be targets because of our lineage, and we wouldn't even know it. We have disavowed such things - yet, in a rather naive way that only secures the power of blood over our society, rather than securing the power of law.
