I agree. Focus on what is provable beyond a reasonable doubt. Occam's razor.
DEWS lasers nor muh 'man made global warming' theory are NOT necessary to explain 3 facts:
1) PG&E's incompetence (intentional or otherwise)
2) Gov Brown's failure to ensure the best prevention measures
3) Gov Brown's signing a bill that forces CA tax payer to pay for 1&2 above.
Any other speculation is nothing more than distraction (corporate playbook?)

I think some of the evidence of DEWS may be intentional while 95%+ of the remaining evidence can be explained by natural though infrequent phenomenon.
