I don't understand why we can't run the clock backwards to wind it? Just because some anons believe the clock should always go forward? I don't think the argument is settled with just saying "no" to the idea.

I think the clock should start winding from 11/23 placed above 10/22. It would be the opposite position of where the clock would stop currently.

 

You can place 11/22 above 10/23 if that is a concern, because that part would remain blank.

 

then 11/22 would line up with itself across the clock though.

Nothing is to say that two clocks can't be made:

 

A spiral that keeps going and get larger and larger and larger, or/and a cyclical clock that we rewind at the end of the clock.

 

I think both ideas are in need of experimenting.
