I've been through that wringer Anon. You live on adrenaline for a few weeks, not knowing which way your ass is pointed, not knowing wtf you're going to do, not knowing if it's gonna be ok. After the third year I met the most wonderful woman who is now my 2nd WifeAnon. This one actually gives a fuck about me, loves me as hard as she can, supports me in whatever I choose to do and much much more. After a while you'll look back you'll see why it happened, you'll learn from your experience, you'll know what it is you don't want.
Hang in there Anon, stay positive, if you have kids never ever rag out on their other parent, make THAT a golden rule.
Their relationship with the other parent is more important than what you want to say, save that for your buddies when you're having a beer. Don't go looking for another love, remain on your own and when the time is right it will find you.
Don't think that you "need" to be with someone, being alone does wonders for your own spiritual growth. Learn to find comfort, peace and happiness in your own company.
