All this divorce talk (last bread) is reminding me of terrible situation, whereby the man (in 80's) was defrauded of his half of his home by the ex's daughter who used her status as doctor to go to court (unbeknownst to him) and have herself appointed guardian under false pretenses. The daughter has also put her own mom (my mom's childhood friend) in a convalescent home and has stolen thier now empty house in cape cod to use as her vacation property.
This daughter's husband is head of a hospital in a large TX city. I was told all this after she was gloating of it to my sister.
