The result of a godless or pagan society is that it rewards the type of people who are fake, shallow, deceitful, selfish, violent, materialistic, and exploitative.

Plus it ridicules & abuses the peaceful quiet ones who seek simple lives and "true religion" (e.g., taking care of orphans and widows, and staying away from the corruption of the world systems - James 1:27)

Which is why the U.S. has become increasingly difficult for decent people, and increasingly rewarding for corrupt people, over the last 120 years or so.

In this rare time now, when a group is in power in the government who respects God and respects people who believe in Him, they can start to reverse this trend. And make society less harmful to people like us - many who are like lost sheep that were driven away and abandoned in the wilderness (Jeremiah 50:6)
