Ever notice all of the times where THE TOYS/OBJECT_CHARACTERS SHUT DOWN WHEN IN THE PRESENCE OF THEIR MASTER/ANOTHER TYPE OF BEING?
It's why everyone says Brave Little Toaster traumatized them, and when they go back and watch it as adults they see the movie is a thousand times darker than they thought.
