I kinda wonder if the “10 days of darkness” was written as though it were a biblical prophecy. Prophetic language interpretation commonly converts “1 day” as being 1 year (see Newton’s interpretation of Daniel’s prophecy).

Are we in the 10 days of darkness right now? And this 1 year together has been 1 day?

The 1 day = 1 year conversion was in reference to Daniel’s 42 months prophecy interpretation by sir Isaac Newton. After inventing calculus, Newton moved on to important matters of predicting when judgement day would occur. For his bible interpretation, one day for God was one year for man.

Please read my response to your first reply to me. Generally, 1day for God is 1 year for man. Not always, and that makes the entire notion of biblical interpretation subjective, and largely flawed.
