Yes. I became a county exec and therefore a go to for candidates as they were gearing up for primaries. It is a great way to vet candidates before the primaries. Remember that when we don't participate in the primaries, choices for candidates in the general election are already made for us. This is why we end up "voting the lesser of evils" so often. Establishment picks represent the uniparty unless we intervene early in the primary process.
