I estimate the entrance wound to be about 3/4" diameter, consistent with a .50 caliber projectile. That rules out common military / police carbine fire and lends credence to the claims of sniper fire.

Jeeze … I had to read your post twice and check for a (you). I wrote essentially the same post Saturday. Yes, there were "conversations" (one-way, for the most part). Moonbeam DID make a half-hearted "save face" speech but he was clearly treading lightly.

This is interesting … but I've crossed the Atlantic in a plane and the horizon was DEFINITELY curved and I've looked out over the Atlantic, Pacific, Caribbean and Lake Michigan and they are ALL curved. I can't rebut his math, but I KNOW what my actual experiences have been.
