Psycopathy basically is a lack of guilt or empathy.

Psycopaths also are the only of the big Psych disorders that actually have a verifyable brain dysfunction. It's different.

Psychopaths thus guide themselves in a very primative way many times: what's good for me.

They see how all others obey rules whether legal or moral or ethical and care nothing of violating or using rules against others. They very easily fall down an evil path, and often acheive great power.

Some, learn about karma and actually see it function. Doing good brings good their way, bad brings bad. But it is not under their control, and the good benefits don't necessarily match what they desire. Because psycopaths are very controlling and try to control their universe, it's a tough sell, so many become quite twisted and evil.
