It won't work. Eventually, socialism leads to shortages, poverty, and desperation for the masses. And when large numbers of poor and oppressed people get desperate and angry enough they tend to respond to their oppressors with violence.
The likely outcome here is that the elite in those swanky New York neighborhoods will gradually begin to notice more and more crime in their neighborhoods as the ghetto people make inroads—until where they live become just as vulnerable and ghetto as many of the once safe and beautiful middle class American neighborhoods that have been ruined by immigration and multiculturalism.
They will sell and move and try to run and hide from all the problems they created. But, these people can't run and hide from themselves. They have to run their mouths and show off themselves no matter where they go, and this is what makes them easy to target.
