Good question. You stumped me.

My forte is meming the positive stuff – rather than making fun of people and things, which many memeanons truly excel at. Last year the text of the SOTU provided a ton of stuff that I found memeable. But afterward.

Today I did about 15 Gitmo Channel and did not receive one single comment. Guess anons thought they were cringe.

Sad.

Have you heard of firelines?

Firefighters clear a strip of land of fuel, before the raging wildfire reaches there. They clear it with chainsaws, axes, hoes, bulldozers & earthmovers.

Then they set a 'backfire' within the cleared area in order to burn from the cleared line toward the acreage where the wildfire is.

It's done carefully, and usually works.

For firefighter safety they have to make the firelines some distance from where the active fire is burning, based on predictions of where it's going to burn, based on terrain, wind, weather, fuel, etc.

It's a pretty sophisticated process.

Look up "backfire" and "fireline" in a wildfire firefighting article.
