But the premist thta programming through TV etc is real. It may no longer be overtly subliminal with HIDDEN imagery, etc but it exists in overt placement, plot lines, and the muddling of reality and fiction… Acceptance, admiration of the actors, etc all play together. The press to care more about the lives of these people because they are famous - cultivating the obsessive nature of some people. Binge watching of shows, and making that possible- also part of the same thing.
