Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump
Of course we should have captured Osama Bin Laden long before we did. I pointed him out in my book just BEFORE the attack on the World Trade Center. President Clinton famously missed his shot. We paid Pakistan Billions of Dollars & they never told us he was living there. Fools!..

@realDonaldTrump
….We no longer pay Pakistan the $Billions because they would take our money and do nothing for us, Bin Laden being a prime example, Afghanistan being another. They were just one of many countries that take from the United States without giving anything in return. That’s ENDING!

POTUS Tweets + Pakistan + China = "DEBT TRAP DIPLOMACY"
HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE
*Asinine, venomous, snarling twitter replies, by angry Anti-Trumpers, to his Pakistan tweets are irrelevant.
They are either bots, or they haven't a clue how:
China (Beijing working w/thru State-run businesses) has been operating globally as a [Geo-Political Loan Shark].
A logical, rational analysis of the historical geo-political context is in order.
China uses a foreign policy tactic known as: "The China Debt Trap"
You can read dozens of articles online analyzing the growing problem for; Central/South Asian, Central/South American & African countries falling into the trap of China's tactic LOANING developing countries large sums of money & infrastructure development aid, at high interest > Thus putting the debtor-country "under-the-thumb" of Beijing.
Over the past few decades, as China has endeavored to become the new "Colonial Power" of the world, they have increasingly put country after country in their debt. They basically "own" the loyalty of many countries.
PAKISTAN is one of those countries. China & Pakistan have a long history of working together going back to when Maoist China sought world recognition after the 1949 communist revolution. Pakistan recognized Moaist China in early 1950.
They've had an ongoing relationship since then. Btw, Pakistan helped as a go-between when Henry Kissinger went to China in 1971 to "Advance" the Nixon-Opening-China trip in 72.
And Pakistan is highly indebted to China.
There are major arms dealings between them.
And, they have been collaborating on a railroad as part of China's "One Belt, One Road" initiative to connect China by land to the Middle east & Europe.
You can read the articles I've linked. I only linked (2) there are tons moar. Seems like everybody owes China these days.
(With the aforementioned in mind)
Bottom line: Foreign aid we send to Pakistan will most likely be passed along to CHINA = to pay Pakistan's debt to them.
We would basically be paying China $billions.
