I am not anti-Masonic because of what you mention about the founders, whom I see as visionary human beings ahead of their time.

Power is power, and spiritual power is the greatest power. The power of words, of intention, of money--all of them can be abused. This makes people afraid of power but I would rather focus on developing the part of me that can learn to handle power wisely, rather than demonize that power. Learning to be responsible, fair-minded, patient, and generous enables me or anyone to become appropriately empowered.

Not necessary to obsess over dark symbols or any of the rest of it. Instead transmute the darkness within and it becomes a springboard to growth.

Keystone is always the thing upon which all others rely (lean). What is the keystone for each of us as individuals? How do we maintain the balance needed to hold a heavy load?

The proud boys? Hmmm….you know, it is possible to be proud of being an anon, too, just because we don't have names doesn't confer special virtue. (Don't I wish.)

Clockfag, I'm not very good at appreciating numbers except as an aesthetic, but I do appreciate your care in describing them in a way that opens doors for anons who have some aptitude to pass thru. Blessings, fren.

I think that's the very point another anon was trying to make about the masons (or groups like them)–that they were initially secret because the Church persecuted them. In this forum, such talk elicits either shill replies (groan) or somebody replying the masons are evil. Why are they evil? Because Q said so.

Q says many things, and sometimes what Q says changes, depending upon the circumstances. That's why it's necessary to "expand our thinking." This is not sophistry on my part, this is truth. We never go wrong when we cultivate discernment.

I get why people want to say all secret societies are bad. I read the same SRA/MKU stuff everyone else around here reads. And feel just as angry.

But I have also been reading about mysticism, depth psychology, symbolism, and history for many years. So for me there has always been a broader context in which to consider the merits of any particular idea, group, etc.

Secrecy has its uses and abuses. And to the extent each person cultivates discernment, it is possible to know the difference.

I want to amend that last sentence, which sounds like I know all about discernment. I don't. It's the hardest thing to develop and requires great situational awareness. It's more like a goal for me to aspire towards.

I've been discussing this topic a little bit tonight. But to tell you the truth talking about mystical and esoteric stuff is less interesting than talking about the need to go deeper, as you point out. In the end, the purpose of talk is to spark action. And in the case of inner development, the action is cultivating receptivity, good habits, the ability to focus, to meditate, to stay in the moment, etc. That is the bread and butter of inner work. Knowledge is useful but incidental.

Esoteric lore becomes a trap for many people because they get fascinated by it, either in a positive or negative sense. The shills know that and act accordingly, trying to get people emotionally caught up in the drama of it all. Everybody who does serious self-study knows it's all about getting past the drama, so you can finally do real work.

Me, too (no femo). (That was a joke, did it work?) I'm not sure it's going to go viral, but what the hell….I tend to be on the serious side, so I love the meme makers who constantly crack me up. I can't seem to do that for myself, need "yeast" to raise the dough. Shills are ok, tiresome at time, test of patience to wade thru some of it….Most folks here are action oriented, which is fine, I'm more intuitive and introverted, as you can see from these posts.

This is quite a group, talk about diversity! Military, ex-mil, autists, artists, comedians, intellectuals, plane/train/ship fags, devoted diggers, clockfags, numberfags and even grammar fags (most of ALL, grammarfags)! And last, our beloved shill wanna-be anons. (We know you love us, come on!)

Sleep time for me, enjoy the show…..
