The drops the last few days have been some mighty big pills to swallow. A part of me wants to bury myself back into my to day-to-day life and pretend I don't know what I now know. But I know that is not what I'm called to do. My wife's best doctor is a neurologist that she's been seeing for over ten years. He'll call out other doctors on their bullshit, he's very open-minded to alternative procedures such as vitamins, acupuncture and massage therapy, and the guy is a PATRIOT with past military experience.

This part of your post is EXTREMELY important. My husband is a doctor and I KNOW his heart is in CURING people. Doing it right. It's what he lives for. He also recognizes the bad doctors. A good doctor (or nurse) doesn't dare speak of the blatant malpractice they see at the hands of a bad doctor. Bad doc will sue for defamation and loss of income and will win.

That said – don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. There are GOOD doctors out there and many of them are active contributors and/or lurkers to this board. They are on YOUR team.
