Blaming boomers for what the elite did?? Who do you think took the brunt of the policies?? For decades I was trying to raise the alarm for what the Elite were doing(both corporate heads and union leaders). I asked if we had WWIII, how would we make anything? Would we ask our potential enemies " Could you hold off on the war until we buy from you what we need?" No sweetie, don't blame the boomers. Blame the ignorant who competed with the Jones's to have the latest and greatest....to go into debt, to lease cars, home equity loans, vacations to everywhere. Credit cards were the beginning of the end. Many people treated them like a supplemental income. Instead, it was a shovel to dig their own financial grave.

Prior to the mid-Nineties, immigrants did not receive ANY assistance. Families had to pledge and have finances to sponsor them. If they became sick, their extended families would be responsible. Educate yourself on how it used to be - not the crap about racism either. For the most part(always some who refuse to change), discrimination was a thing of the past by the late 70's, early 80's. Anyone who tells you otherwise, has an agenda. Today, it is not about equal rights, but about special rights. Obama couldn't be impeached because he was Black. Snipes in Florida couldn't be criticized because she was Black, etc. I think most people will play by the rules of society, as long as the rules apply to all. The war we are fighting has been against the Middle Class since the 60's & 70's.

I'm a Boomer and I was taught that an education was the one asset that could never be taken away from you, but also no matter what job you did(sweeping floors, etc) do it with pride. No job is "beneath you" if it is honest work.

I always worked 2 jobs. How do you think you get ahead? You live under your means. Then you have money to invest. It's a simple formula– not necessarily easy, but simple.

Speaking of insurance, notice how you must insure for an excessive amount(for rebuilding), yet if you don't rebuild, you don't get that amount. It's another scam to increase the premiums you pay.

Unfairly prejudicial?? Must be a young attorney who has now successfully drawn everyone's attention to the item he/she did not want them to look at.

Contact your local news station about a fraud angle. If they did it to him, they must have done it to others. And don't give up on finding an attorney who will do the work. It may be difficult, but lawyers do take pro bono (no charge) cases if they feel there's an injustice or if it will give them good publicity.

Are you sure your father isn't leaving out some important facts?? Two years seems like an awfully long time over something which should be clear cut. Maybe a gambling problem, drugs, etc where he doesn't want to admit he blew the money. Check the documents at the courthouse.
