Baker! An edit for the US DoD IP subnet!

US DoD owns the entire 11.0.0.0/8 subnet, not just 11.11.18.0/24 (limited scope)

Quick subnetting:

11.0.0.0/8 = 11.[0-255].[0-255].[0-255] different combinations.

Where as stated 11.11.18.0/24 (zero implied in IP) would indicate only 11.11.18.[0-255] different possibilities. But it cannot end in 255 as it is broadcast. Broadcast doesn't work traversing networks.

The importance in Q's question for Anons would possibly then be:

What's with the specific 11.11.18.0 mentioned?

Who's it assigned to within DoD, branch etc.?

Other things?

Not a USfag

Thanks for the mention. Was just hoping to get it in there that the IP range is bigger than written in the dough. Even though there's a picture backing up my claims.
