Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodox, Protestants of God knows how many denominations?
Similarly, with Judaism.
Othodox? Hasidic? Reformed? There are countless variations of sects here also.
As human beings, religious beliefs are personal and expressions of faith in varying degrees which exist apart from hierarchical control.
Personally speaking, I stick to the Gospels as the most authoritative instruction in the Bible.
