Lets see if anyone is ready to discuss.
A gluon has two color fields Red Green or Blue and an anticolor - antired antigreen or antiblue. The gluon does not have to have the same color and anti color. But a quark must be color neutral in one of the 3 colors both color and anticolor. The Proton must be color neutral having a balance of all 3 colors. Thus the color field seems to be both two and 3 dimensional field.
I think mathematically this Chromodynamics of the Standard Model fits nicely with a 6 axis system and would be much stronger than the 3 axis system we are familiar with.
Standard Model is the study of the subatomic particles of the wave form of energy.
It is the study of the metal filings in the EM field to learn about the field
Chromodynamics of quarks and gluons.
The 2/3 and 1/3 are charge.
Proton has one charge so two +2/3 bound to -1/3 make the 1 charge of the proton.
Color is an entirely different wave field that has no charge or mass.
It appears that the quarks have a color energy field and has both a color and anti color in each quark. But collapse into a proton with mass and charge the color must balance into three axis Red/Green/Blue. My bet is that this symmetry breaking is at the perimeter of the proton and will always follow the symmetrical wave pattern of a 6 dimensional axis. Like the orbit of the electron has a pattern where there are only some places the electron can be particle – this will hold true of quarks as well. I think the unpaired quarks, two up and one down are still actually paired but across a dimensional event horizon – thusly we cannot measure the anti-quarks folded on the perimeter – dimensional event horizon
Basically, there is a three/six axis energy field for the quark/gluon named color with no charge, no mass and mostly not understood. Light/Photon has two axis electro and magnetic.
Let’s say the red quark moves in the orbit of the red/anti-red quantum wave potential and only can “un-pair” and collapse into physical when matched on the perimeter of the circle/dimension event horizon. The same will be for the green and blue quarks. The orbital pattern of the quark/gluon will retain this geometric symmetry. Note the pattern is the great circle of the perimeter if the entire pattern is not spun around the Y,X, Z or other axis.
Gravitons if ever discovered would just be another field pattern with a 'matter' collapse.
They would probably have a color component to their field as quarks have a charge component.
It would be my opinion that all the other quark pairs dancing with gluons in the proton are just metal filings of the field.
