Many certainly did reject what He had to say, but not all. However, that still does not prove that Christianity is not Judaism. What is Judaism? Did it exist before Abram? All Judaism is is people who OBEY God. God's chosen people are the people who OBEY Him.
Christianity is just a different name for the same thing. People who trust and obey God and His son Jesus.
Okay, one simple question. How do you get to heaven? By following the law, which I guarantee you've already broken, or by grace and faith?
You just don't get it. Once you are covered by the blood of the lamb, the letter of the law is satisfied, you are free. The law still applies but the penalty does not. So your attitude should be one of gratefulness and humbleness and you do your best not to sin anymore. You will fail, but you're covered and you do it out of gratitude and love and a heartfelt desire to please God.
God is not a tyrant. God is merciful if you just let Him.
I should say, the penalty also still applies, but since Christ paid it for you, you can't be penalized twice. He basically paid your fine.

Oh, and btw, I have broken the law as well. Everyone has. The question is, who is going to pay the bill? Mine is paid. Is yours?
There is nothing I can do. It is what Christ did. He paid it for me, all I have to do is have faith in Him and he will intercede for me on the great day. All I really need to do is be thankful and believe God's word.
Do what Christ said to the best of my ability. To forgive. To treat others as I would have myself treated.

Just so you understand. Doing those things are not what saves me though. Doing those things are the same as thanks offering. You do them out of gratitude, not as a means to be saved. You do them because you're thankful that you ARE saved.
