Why do some (main and huge) shopping malls in the West display signs during Ramadan and Eid that say “Ramadan Mubarak” and “Eid Mubarak”, but when preparing for Christmas the signs say “Happy Holidays” instead of “Merry Christmas”.

Is this because the malls are Saudi owned?
