He stayed there for hours afterwards with his wife and two adult daughters looking 'nervous and shaken'
At around noon, he left the area with his wife Susan and was not seen there again, according to neighbors
Forty minutes later, a fire was reported at his brother Keith's mansion in Colts Neck, 12 miles away
Keith, 50, was found shot dead outside the home and his wife Jennifer and children, Sophia and Jesse, were inside
Jennifer, 45, and the children, who were aged 11 and eight, had been stabbed before the house was set on fire
No one has been charged in their deaths but police say they were 'targeted' and inquiries are ongoing
Paul worked for Keith at his technology consultancy firm, Square One, in Asbury Park

Paul Caneiro, 51, was charged with aggravated arson for the fire that was reported at his own home in Ocean Township, New Jersey, on Tuesday at 5am.
Prosecutors say he doused part of his home with gasoline from cans then set it on fire.
He has not been charged for the murders of his brother and business partner Keith, 50, or those of Keith's wife Jennifer, 45, and their two children, Jesse, 11, and Sophia, eight.
