Election Fraud anyone?

Suspect this statistic and comparison to Watergate will come back to haunt them…hopefully soon.

Dems won popular vote in House races by margin not seen since Watergate

Democrats claimed 8.6 million more votes than Republicans in the midterm House races earlier this month, according to data compiled by NBC News, pulling off the party’s biggest midterm victory since the Watergate scandal.

NBC reported on Wednesday that Democrats defeated Republicans by the largest margin of victory since the party earned 8.7 million more votes than Republicans in 1974, shortly after President Richard Nixon (R) resigned from the Oval Office.

So far, Democrats have earned 53.1 percent of the overall vote in this month’s House races while Republicans took 45.2 percent – and the gap is reportedly widening as more votes roll in.

Democrats have earned a 234 to 199 majority in the incoming House as two seats have yet to be called, giving them a net gain of almost 40 House seats.

Republicans lost seats in both chambers in 1974. Republicans widened their majority in the Senate during this month's elections.

According to a report from the U.S. Election Project, voter turnout in the 2018 midterm elections topped 113 million people, marking the highest rate of turnout for a midterm election since 1966.
