There's so many sci-fi episodes, especially in the Star Trek & Stargate series/movies, about government or military officials being taken over by alien entities. Oddly there's Quite a few that also elude to a Nazi & Alien alliance during WW2. IMO soft disclosure via the entertainment industry has been ongoing since radio was invented.
