On this day, 55 years ago, a tragic event gripped the nation. An event, that changed the course of history. And the future of this nation and it’s people. There are people on this board, and many boards elsewhere, that can still remember. They remember not only the day, but where they were, what they were doing, who they were with, and how they were notified or were informed of the event.

For many of those alive at that time, the horror of the event, the shock of a nation and the loss of Camelot, was almost too much to bear. And then to witness another historic event, with the murder of the supposed murderer, sent the people and the country into another shock.

In the end, the investigations, those involved and the events as they were expressed, were never trusted or believed by many of the population. As a result, there has been a disconnect between the citizens of the country and the government and those who hold or have held, any official capacity in it.

The 2nd Revolution started that fateful day, on November 22, 1963. And now, it is in the hands of the people today, as they quest for their truths and their freedoms. Let freedom ring.
