REMINDER … "Voice of Allah" technology to put voices in your head (using ultrasound techniques) has been around since earlier than 2007. It's even used by advertisers in NY Times Square. Military used it in Iraq and Gitmo to make prisoners think they are talking to Allah to get them to reveal their plans.

Nicholas Cruz states that voices in his head gave him instructions on how to carry out the attack, gather weapons, etc. So it's entirely plausible for a FF operation to find a kid with existing mental instability and edge him on using this tech.
