Most aren't indictments, either, if you're talking about the 60k sealed Fed filings. Most are applications for electronic searches. Still a big number, though, don't misread what I'm saying.

 

If there's 60k indictments, a lot of them will be at the state level, too.

Yeah. Q never said they were all Federal.

 

The Fed docs that were partly unsealed last week were all applications for electronic searches under 18 USC 2703. Still a big freakin' deal, but not indictments.

 

As for the 60k plus Fed sealed case files, most are likely applications for warrants/orders.

 

That being the case, it's still leaves a huge number of indictments sealed. More probably at the state level nationwide.

 

That would = 40k indictments and still leave room for orders.
