Q has mentioned (perhaps more than once?) that the Internet would go "dark" following the release of images particularly damning to those on the Left. As I remember, something about Obama aiming a gun at a flag/person?

That being said, I'm seeing a number of stories appear which seems to plant the seeds in the public's mind which would help to explain a sudden dark-period–that is, when sites are shut down to scrub them.
