Multiple people were injured after a shooting at the Riverchase Galleria in Hoover on Thanksgiving night.

Several shoppers were seen with their guns drawn.
One eyewitness was leaving the mall and entering the parking deck when he heard multiple shots, he ran to his car as people were fleeing the entrance by Journeyโs. He heard tires squealing as people tried to flee.

Sounds like Karachi has a massive problem with flea market/swap meet type of shopsโ they're calling them encroachmentsโ being constructed & operated illegally, and there are so many that the additional shoppers have overtaxed the bad infrastructure. TL;DR Illegal shops getting torn down because the toilets are overflowing and it's making the city smell like shit.
But back to the terrorism:
https://www.samaa.tv/news/2018/11/firing-heard-near-chinese-consulate-in-karachis-clifton/
Firing and explosions have been heard near the Chinese Consulate in Karachi's Clifton, confirmed the South SSP Pir Muhammad Shah.
One attacker and two police officers are being reported to have been killed in the crossfire. Firing is still being heard in the area.
A heavy contingent of police and Rangers have been deployed at the scene and have sealed the area. Traffic has been stopped. The consulate is located on Saba Avenue in Clifton Block 4. Also nearby are the Embassy of Kuwait, several schools and restaurants. Bilawal House is also nearby, as is the Russian Consulate.
The firing began at the visa section of the consulate at around 9:30am. Consulate guards returned the fire.
The Sindh IG and governor have summoned reports on the incident from the South DIG.
According to witness reports, smoke can be seen coming from the consulate.
Security at the consulate has been increased. According to the police, unknown assailants opened fire at the consulate.
The attackers are still outside the consulate and an operation is still under way. All the lanes surrounding the consulate have been sealed. People have been barred from entering the area. The South SSP is leading the operation himself and says they are closer to controlling the situation.
They will clear the area first and then ascertain the details of the incident.
Schools nearby are locked down. One school has sealed its gates and told parents that no one will be allowed to enter or exit the premises. "A child leaving the gate every two seconds is a huge security hazard. Having children on the road right now is not a good idea," said the school administration in a message to parents.

History of bad blood between Pakistan and China:

Spent my younger years reading spy novels, and always tried to select the ones which were deemed legit in respectable book reviews.
This backstage, high-stakes intel war going on between America, the UK and Australia makes me very concerned. Have a sense of dread about potential events before this war comes to a conclusion.
I recall seeing that Nov 6 tweet by Papadopoulos. It rang true, if only for how logical it was about the situation.
I suspect Papadopoulous is another actor whose role was needed "in the light" and extremely visible.
Will certainly not be surprised if Snowden and Assange have been under protection in Gitmo or heaven knows where all this time. Their cameo roles may end up being the surprise ending of the movie.
I do try to be sure and pray for the unknown white hats every day. They're carrying a heavy, heavy load right now, the stakes are insanely high, and desperate people do desperate things.
Bless our white hats, wherever they are and whatever their role.

Holy cow, fellow night owls.
Couple of hours ago, posted this intriguing bit from Sorcha Faal (yes, yes, I know) which kicked off all my red flags. Have a look:
