Hope you had a good first day in Bucharest! I have been thinking about you all day and wondering what you're up to. How is your mom? Are you all finding lots to do and talk about? I'm so curious!

I had a ridiculously busy day. I went in early for the Secret Service meeting, which took about two hours, and then went pretty much straight into a meeting for the Danny Elfman event this weekend, and then had a third meeting with someone from the music department. So I barely had a chance to stand at my desk, and fell further behind. But things will be better and I'll have a chance to catch up after Wednesday, when Bill Clinton and David Sedaris will be over.
